6x47L handgun groups

At 100 yards off a leather rear bag and my NEO rest. Factory trigger is about 3 lbs. I'll be swapping a 4oz Jewell into this gun before the next range session.
Left was the 70 gr SBK with H-4895 and the right was the 75 gr v-max with H-4350. The gun doesn't even shift off the target backer with these light bullets. Can't wait to unleash this thing on a Pdog town.

A couple of groups trying the 87 v-max were 1" and strung diagonally. Scratching my head over that. I bought a box of 95 grain Ballistic Tips and will see how they shoot in this 9 twist Lilja.

Ya might want to give 105 Amax & between 37.0 to 38.0 gr RL17 a try I've found that combo has shot extremely well for me in both my short barreled 18" XP and my 27" hunting rifle both are 8 tw. I never had any luck getting the 87's to group well in either gun.

With the 16" bbl and 9" twist I don't believe this one will stabilize anything over 95 grains. The 95 gr ballistic tip will be tried next. I'm also going to put a rifle scope on it. 12x max magnification just isn't enough.

I don't think you will have any trouble stabilizing even 107 SMK"s in a 9 twist.

If this is for varmint busting, I would stick to the 75-95 gr. pills. The 87 vmax will pull em out of the hole! The 75 s will fluff em too. Those groups will tighten up when you put the riflesscope on.
