Planning on having a walking varminter built on a Rem 700 in 6x47 Remington.
Going with a 21" Rem sporter weight barrel. Mainly used for deer hunting and varmints inside of 250 yards.
Thinking of going with a 1-9" twist.
I know the faster cartridges such as the .243 Win and the 6mm Rem will run the heavy weights with a 1-9" twist.
Will the 1-9" stabilize the 105 grainers at the slower speeds of the 6x47 Rem ? maybe 2,550 fps...
