6x47 powders

Have a new barrel coming and want to try some different things.
Would like to try the 110g A-tips and either the Vihtavuori N150
or N160 powders. They burn clean and little cooler than others.
Leaning towards the 160. Don't want to use the 550 or 560 double based.
Anyone have experience with these two powders?

H4350 is what i use for 105 to 115 in my 6x47L. I have a lb if RL16 to try on recommendation from this forum but haven’t given it a whirl yet. I use 8208 on 68 and below for full power loads.

My Hornady manual lists VIHT n-150 for the lighter bullets, 150gr and below. It suggests using, VIHT N-160 for the heavier bullets. It has the two powders listed for the lighter bullets (IMR 4350 and VIHT N-150,) with a 5 grain difference in charges.

I'm currently using RL16 with the 107 smk's @3072 fps
With the new barrel, wanting to try the Berger 109 or 110 A-tips
Thought I'd see if I could get almost the same speed and no pressure with a different powder
and still have great accuracy.

Have you had problems with RL16?

Two other powders that should give you good accuracy and velocity is Re-17 and Norma URP

I have 2 8 lbs unopened of N160 if you want a deal :)

I've used N160 with 110 SMK, 107 SMK and 105 Scenars, ideal burning speed with those weight bullets. I can get up to 3075fps without pressure but running them at 2930 or so as the barrel seems to prefer that speed, this is with a 30" Bartlein. I'd start around 38gns and go from there.
