6x47 Lapua 115 berger VLDs or 109 hybrids

Planning out my rifle build while i wait for a barrel blank and trying to decide on which bullet to shoot. Barrel is a 1:7 bartlein. I have a dasher now that i shoot 105 VLDs and it shoots phenomenal, just looking to try something else with this new gun. Rifle would be used primarily for prs.

109s or 110 sierras or Atips would be my choice.

I shoot 110 sierras on mine with great success. Having said that I ran 107s as well and they’ve shot equally as good.

I didn’t have the best luck with 115s in one of my barrels. I couldn’t get a decent combo of speed and accuracy with them for some reason.

109's are great bullets. 115's seem to be the point in the mid size 6's where you get big drop in velocity but they can shoot well.

Don't overlook the Berger 108BT. Super easy to tune and they shoot small.

What powder do you shoot with the sierras and what powder did you try with the 115s?

H4350 with the sierras both 107 and 110

Tried H4350, R23 and H 4831 with the 115s

115s accuracy was good but lower speed than I wanted.

Thank you for the information looks like ive got a better idea of some things to try before just buying larger lots of one or the other.
