6X45 on AR-15 platform

I have an AR-15 in 6X45 with a 16" custom barrel,I use it for shorter range,300yds),and night hunting for yotes,cats,and coons.The optic is an ACOG4x,and I have fired a 5/8" group at 100yds with 65gr VMAX,for larger critters I load 100gr RN,it has one hell of a "Smack Factor".Its accurate,efficiant,and fun to shoot.Ill take this over any crappy 6.8 REM anyday.

It is a .223 necked up to 6mm

I've taken three small whaitetails with my 6 x45, all at less than 100 yards. Two with headshots and one when I had a perfect heart lung shot. For me it feels like the bare minimum for deer size game, and it wouldn't be my first choice on a trophy size deer.
