6SLR barrel life ?

Guys,

Looking at building a 6slr to go with my Dasher so I can shoot 115's at 1000 yards... What kind of barrel lidfe are you'll seeing? I'll be running this in F-Class, so the barrel will be abused shooting 20- round strings on hot days...

Jim,

I have 1400 rds on mine so far and accuracy is still good. The BBL life should be better than a 6.5x284 depending on the powder you use. H1000 and H4831sc would be my choices.

Another thought, when I rebbl mine, will have it nitrided. A couple of bbls our shooting group had treated are shooting very well and the throats look real good after 400 rds in a 6.5x284.
