rifle: background:
Nesika J: old original made in Poulsbo Washington
barrel: Krieger 1:13.5 twist:
round count: 500
bullets: 68 FB
Iam learning the short range stuff currently
I have never really chronograph: my loads:
a: LT32: 54+2 clicks on my Harrels powder drop
load shoot quite well:but when I chronographed was very surprise how fast it was: 3431 average
for 20 rounds: shot well
but question is this too fast?
I know I may kill primer pockets too quickly?
freshly made brass, no pressure signs: no bolt life issues.
b: N133: 29 grains:
velocity: 3250 FPS: also shoots quite well, this velocity shoots well
my question is for the LT32: do you think this is too high a velocity?? ( but it it shoots keep shooting it?, makes me wonder if primer pockets will die out quicker. I can always make new brass)
I shoot up in the PNW; where it does not get too hot.
any thoughts from members who shoot 6PPC
thanks
