6ppc bullet change question

I a currently shooting flat based bullets by Barts. I am thinking of switching to the Barts boat tail bullets. I have a fairly decient load developed for the FB bullets. What of that information is helpful with the boat tail bullets? I just don’t want to reinvent the wheel if I don’t have to.

I shot both of those when I had my PPC. The B T bullet seemed to want a tad more powder to be as accurate as the F B in my gun.

They’ll shoot very similar, and as Bill said, the BT may want a little kick in the pants.

I think Bart would help you our with this decision better than anyone. In my experience switching from FB to BT can be easy, but sometimes it might mean a whole new load work up. Bart is a good guy to talk with. JME. WD
