I have placed an order for a full custom build in 6mmBR for my local 500 yard steel matches. It wont be done for a long time, mostly due to McMillan never figuring out how to increase production while keeping quality.

SO, I've always used Redding FL dies with their carbide sizer button and a Competition seater, nothing fancy. I'm now researching decappers, bushing dies, body dies, inline seater with Arbor press, runout tools.

What are some of ya'lls suggestions for this caliber and reloading products re; dies, etc.

I went with the straight 6mmBR instead of one of the hybrids. I want to keep loading as SIMPLE as possible.

Redding decapping die for depriming. Harrell's sizing die and Sinclair/LE Wilson micro adjust seating die is my setup.

6BR shooting gets boring real fast. You can only shoot so many bug holes.

I used to use Forster non bushing sizers with polished expander ball. I now use Whidden bushing dies and a Porter Precision die with pin gauges for setting neck tension. I use a Wilson micrometer top seater with a K&M arbor press. I am planning to get a Harrells die down th road.
Don't worry about runout. I went down that rabbit hole. It makes no difference. IMHO, it is better to concentrate on consistent, uniform neck tension, consistent seating depth and optimal powder/primer combination.
My 6br is still being built. Waiting on the Bartlein barrel. Everything else is in.

Absolutely. Get yourself an old Lee-Enfield in 303 British. Then you will know how good your modern trigger is - and why the military use such big targets.

I suggest a Whidden or Harrels full length bushing die, a Wilson micrometer seating die with an arbor press, and Berger 105 VLD bullets.

Excellent caliber choice. There are other stock makers other than McMillan. I will use nothing but Forster FL sizing dies and their competition seating dies. Excellent results.

I use a Widden Click Adjustable bushing die and a Wilson Micrometer seating die with an arbor press on all three of my no neck turn 6BR-Norma's. I also had good results with a Forester Mic Seater in the past.
