I am looking to build my first custom bench rest rifle, i have read about the above cal. 6mmBR. i could use some help on gunsmiths, actions i had a single shot in mind.

we do not have ranges of more than 100 or 200 yards, however Ohio and PA are not to far.

I know you get what you pay for, what do you thing this kind of set up would cost. just the rifle, optic are another issue as well as bases and mounts.

Without glass it came to $3,800, I'm planning on another $800 for a Leupold scope.
The damn thing better shoot.

I took the same course as Gunamonth. I used a pre-fit Pac Nor for $320, all else the same. Last time out to the range the gun was shooting 3/4 to 1 1/4" at 200 yds. I have some "new & improved" loads awaiting better weather. This IS NOT bench rest accuracy, but it pretty good for about $1100. Hanic
