6mmbr xp 100

I just aquired a xp 100 r in 22-250 that I havnt even shot yet. But I am already thinking about rebareling it. How would a 6br work out in a 14in xp? I will shoot it at mostly varmints, maybe a deer if I really get frogy. What twist? What bullet weight? I was thinking 55s for yotes maybe 80 bergers for deer size game at close range. I will never shoot this thing over 300 yds at anything. If I get to where I can shoot it at all.

I'd shoot the 22 -250 wear that barrel out & then rebarrel it after varminting. Had a 7BR Xp100,it shot 120 sierras into cloverleafs sold it to a buddy :, then Remington discontinued it. Shot a Dall Sheep, a few blacktail deer, Mtn goat,lots of varmints. It was 4 lbs with the scope great little packing type gun and as accurate as my hunting rifle. Never should have sold it

Go for it,,I have a custom pistol in 6BR,,and love it..i`d go with an 8 or 7 twist to stablize the heavier bullets though..One thing about the 6BR in a pistol,,its the same as in a rifle,it`s dead nuts accurate...

I own a 14 twist 6BR custom XP-100, built and used by Chuck Bicket for half scale Silhouette,Ohio Champ) and it shoots the 70 gr Blitzking so well I can consistantly hit golfballs out to 250 yds on a machine rest. XMR 2015 and H322 seems to be the powders of choice.
