6mmBR what happened?

I can no longer log in at the 6mmBR website. Does anyone know if anything changed or is it just my computer?

6mmBR what happened? -- Site is Still UP

Everything on the old site is still live, honest (I'm still paying the bills). The correct URL is http://www.6mmbr.com . All I can think is that perhaps you tried to log in when the server was slow or tied up for maintenance.

You can continue to access old articles at www.6mmbr.com. However, all the NEW updates are being made on AccurateShooter.com and I suggest you start using that. If you haven't been reading our Daily Bulletin -- That's were you'll find new content every day.

That's the URL that I had been using (6mmbr.com) but it's dead as a doornail on my computer. Guess I'll just keep using this one. Thanks!

The full URL is: http://www.6mmbr.com/index.html

I can't understand why you wouldn't be able to bring up that page. You may have a corrupted bookmark file. I'd also suggest you clear your cache (temporary internet files).

The only other thing I can think of it that you have some kind of ad-blocking software that's preventing the page from loading.

Sheesh! This morning the Accurate Shooter page was corrupted. The front page was all scrambled but I was able to find the forum button and click it to get in. Maybe I'll try turning the spam blocker off.

Well, isn't this special. If I open and sign in to a Google account the 6mmBR URL will open. What's up with that?

I'm having fun :D. Got to be an addministrator :o. No I didn't touch anything. The Forum comes up in Html text or does not respond half the time ::). But mostly the Forum is running at dial-up speed :-[. feels like 1994 all over again :'(. Maybe AOL has infiltrated accurateshooter.com 8).

We have tested, and are not seeing any issues. Forum is running fine for us, at normal speed.

I suspect there may be an issue with your browser cache or possibly ad-blocking software. The only change we've made in the last six weeks is to change the size of ads that appear on the first post.

If you guys are having troubles, let me know the browser type and release number. I just tested Firefox and Internet Explorer on an older PC and the Forum came up very fast, with no formatting issues. Forum start page launched in under two seconds, and thread pages came up in about 1 second.

Working fine today; as usual. First thing yesterday I cleaned my browser cache straight away. But still not helpfull. Yesterday was a hoot. Especially when every thing came up in HTML, everyones names and IP address were bold. As I remember only administrators see that stuff.

I'm glad to see I'm already logged in. I keep my setting on "forever". But the last few weeks I have had to log in everytime I load up. Oh! I also changed from the old site to the new site yesterday. Got rid of all my old 6mm BR links.

What a great site you have made for us I cant say how much I appreciate what we have here thanks to you! PG
