Can someone give me the head or Base dim a reamer should be for 6mmBR lapua brass? I just received a new reamer and its .471 and I think its to big I thought it was .498 or .499 . I don't want a big bulge in a fired case.
Thanks,Art

.471 seems about right. New Lapua brass measures just about .469 or a little more. Fired brass in my BR measures just under .471 which means the chamber is .471.
Your reamer seems to be standard, so you should be ok. By the way, my brass doesn't have a buldge on it.

My BR, BRX and Dasher reamers are .471" at the .200 datum line. This is my specs from Lapua brass that I measured for .002" clearance at the web of the case. I'm sure Saami minimum specs would be larger than this unless it was specs before Lapua brass came out. You won't have a bulge in a fired case with a .471"@.200 datum line reamer.
