6mmBR newbie questrion

I have a Husqvarna barreled action in .30-06 that I've had kicking around for a while. Would I be able to use this action for a 6mmBr build? My bolt face is .590 and my other alternative is looking at the possibility of a build in 7mmWSM....the rifle would be for varmints and meduim sized game in the 6mm or medium to larger game in the 7mmWSM as well as punching paper at longer distances in an informal,non-competitive) setting. I don't see alot of riles being built on the Mauser style action.....I'm wondering if I'm better off to build with a rem 700, win 70 or a savage....may be easier in the long run.....any opinions or advice is appreciated!

I think a 30.06 is what is called a long action caliber
The 7wsm would be a short magnum action with a different boltface.
The 6br is a small action.

remington would be a great platform to start from. Get the action trued, get a match barrel and let a good gunsmith bed the stock and put it toghether. You'll be frying coyotes at 500 yards +.
