6mmBR bullet diameter Need Help

Normally shoot Berger 68gr or Sierra 70gr match which I think are .243 diameter. Recently got some older custom bullets which are Haney .244 diameter 7 ogive. Never gave a thought to the difference in diameters until now. How is it that manufacturers use from .243 to .244 and why? Am I going to get more copper in the barrel with the .244? Should I even be using them?

I measured som 105 VLD;s and sierra 107 MK's for you. in the middle of the bearing surface I meassure .2425 for vld and .2422 on the match king. on the driving band both measure .2430.

Measure them like that and see what you come up with. If they are .244' they will be tight. Im guessing they will shoot but might cause pressure problems and fouling.

I would measure them befor I shot any.
