6mmbr brass

My chamber is reamed with a 6mmbr Rem. reamer.
If I buy lapua brass, will I have a problem
chambering them.
Next question: Why would clymer send me a 6mm rem. reamer
when everybody knows that lapua is the brass of popular choice.
Unfortionatly, it wasn't until after I reamed my chambers
that I realized there was a differance between the two.
I can only hope there will be no problems.

HI Thane...do you have a reamer drawing,,blueprint)),,they shulda sent one with the reamer...it will tell you exactly what you have....if not,ask them for one....this is why I deal with Dave Kiff...he will explain exactly what you are getting, and he knows all the options, freebore, leade angle, etc that work and those that dont work....some other folks will sell you just what you ask for,,even if they know it is wrong....then they can sell you another one later..!!!! MABY>>>it is up to you...reamers are too expensive and guess what,,,you got a bbl all messed up too..,,,dont fool with telephone operators and marketing people....see "THE MAN"...KIFF....you wont be fooled again.......Roger
PS,,,you have the reamer there,,and the chamber it cut...measure them ...they shuld be aprox .470" at the .200 line....if so then they are good to go for Lapua...OBTW..is the freebore and neck what U wanted...??? lotsa ?? ..it shuld be marked on the reamer ...or measure it....

The Clymer sight used to have all their reamer prints online but that part of their site has be 'under construction' for months now. I bet if you call them up they can fax or email you the reamer print. It may the Norma chamber. A lot of 6mmBR stuff still comes listed as 6mmBR Rem even though it is to the current Norma/Lapua spec. My Forster dies are this way.
