6mmBR body die

When it comes time to bump the shoulder back on my 6mm BR I am using a redding body die. When I bump the shoulder back .001 the body just below the shoulder is resized down to .460. My fired cases measure .462 at the shoulder/ body junction. Is there a way to open up the die by honing it out or is there a different body die option so I am not resizing the body every time I want to push the shoulder back?

For improved consistency and thus accuracy, I would recommend that you resize using your body die after each firing. It appears to be a good fit for your chamber as you are only sizing the body at the shoulder junction by .002(one half the thickness of the average human hair).

PS: If you haven't already, suggest you see Dies and Reloading Gear in attached link.

A good machinist can hone out a carbide 45acp die to.451 and it will work perfectly. Have one, and love it !

Oops. .461,,,,, 51 might be a little hard to pull the handle on. (cigar fingers on a cell phone don't work very well)

I have the similar issue when I bump my shoulder back. Case stretch is around .005, which I want to minimize. I read that Harrell's has 6 or so FL dies for the 6br with slightly different body dimensions. I'm sending them a fired 6br brass and they will match it best they can to a die that closely resembles my fired brass. Hopes are, with bumping the shoulder .0005-.001 I get minimal body dimension change and less case stretch.
