My 243 Win & my 6mmbr are fond of that Berger 88 gr, flat base bullet..The old boxes say Match Grade, now labeled High BC Varmint...I know it must be me...The old Days I shot smaller groups with those...grin....Serious hunting Bullet too...Absolutely, yes, deadly,They can find fur, & perform at past 1/4 mile distance too.....Mike in Ct

Has anyone ever used these for coyotes?

I shoot them in my rebarreld 1-12 twist kimber montana around 3200 fps. Does a great job bucking the wind and putting Yotes down with authority.

This is the caliber I wanted when I built my 25.06 but, I couldn't find any brass. Later I found out you can use 7x57 brass, (if I remember correctly).

25-06 out of 7x57??? Hope you mean 30-06.

6mm Remington/ackley easily made from 257 robts and the parent cartridge 7x57.

You are absolutely right! There is something to consider. Many years ago I read an article by Jon R. Sundra that making 6mmRem brass out of 7X57 brass will add a good grain more to the internal capacity. He was correct. If I were to make 6mmRem or it's A.I. version, it would be with Norma 7X57 brass..
