6mm250 Brass suggestions

I've got a 6mm250 and have been using WW 22-250 brass that I've "reformed" to 6mm250. The WW cases have developed loose primer pockets after 3-4 firings and some cases have been found cracked in the area just above the web area. I "think" I may have found reasons for the low case life but......

I would like to get some suggestions on what manufacturer I should try for cases.

Lapua seems to be the obvious. I'm wondering if I should look at the Lapua small rifle primer .308 case.... if its possible to reform them to 6mm250.

How about reforming some other 6mm cases such as 6.6x47 or 6xc?

thanks

Both of the above cases are too short to turn into a 6/250.

You could try some Lapua 22-250.

The cracks above the web are due to headspace - since you are making cases for a "wildcat" then you are making the cases with too much headspace.
You did not say how you are forming them, but I suggest making false shoulders that require using a fair amount of force to close the bolt.
If you are fire forming them from 22-250, then use a very light oil on the case body, shoulder, and neck, so they form without stretching.. it is the stretching that cases the cracks.

Lapua 308 small primer cases will work fine - just make sure the the finished necks are not too think, since they will come from the body of the 308 case.
