6mm x 6.8 spc

never asked a question here before so please bear with me.has anyone here had any experience with the 6.8spc necked down to 6mm?any loads you could pass along?can you use 6.8 dies and the proper bushing to form brass. jim

You may want to contact White Oaks Precision about your interest as they have some good experience with this wildcat.

Not sure if there are 6.8 SPC dies on the market that use bushings. If you plan on doing this wildcat, it would make sense to order custom dies. Why spend the extra money only to skimp on dies?

I have an AR chambered in this. It's also called a 6mmWOA (White Oak Armament) I had my AR built for a coyote calling rifle and couldn't be happier. Dan Carey did mine and also supplied the dies. I'm not sure if 6.8 SPC bushing dies exist either. Anyone who would/ could cut a chamber for this should also be able to hook you up with a set of dies.

The only load I've shot from mine is a 65grn Vmax over Benchmark powder lit by a CCI primer. I use SSA brass with the small primer pocket. Shoots bugholes at 100. I've not had a reason to try another load.

Good luck to ya.
Steve.
