6mm Tac40?

At a 600 yard match today, there was a shooter that shot a 6mm Tac40. It looked much like the 6 BR-DX cartridge. Does anyone know the difference in the two? James

Just a guess, James, but could it have been a 6mmAR Turbo°? I think the AR40° is proprietary. It could have been re-named, etc. to get around that. The AR40° is based on the 6.5 Grendel case...not much diiferent than a BR but has a ppc diameter boltface and is a few thou longer to the shoulder.--Mike Ezell

Tclaunch designed it I believe. It is suppose to be a brdx with a little bit longer neck.

Its like a dasher but .011" shorter in the body and .028" longer neck.
