6mm rem?

Is there any particular reason why there is not a cartridge profile page for the 6mm rem and it's ackley version on the site?

I would really like to read some good information about it.

The sierra manual has info on the 6mmai as one of the better improves. But if you look at the 6br improves as well as the loads it appears its more efficient. Depends on what you are using it for. A north carolina 1000 yard competitor used the 6mm for a year and changed over to the 7mm saum to win. Again, it depends on what your using it for. Me, I shoot the 6.5X47 out to 1000. 38.5 grains of varget, 123 lapua, will compete with just about anything. Did I mention low recoil. Consider the 6mm6.5X47.
Cabin Fever?

http://www.angelfire.com/sd/6mmackley/ has a wealth of info on 6AI. I have 2 of them and they are an absolute joy to shoot. And can run with anything out there 6MM wise at long range IMHO. Easy to load for and ultra accurate. I also have a bone stock 6MM Remy rifle just for deer hunting. One heck of a cartridge.

The Rem 6mmAI is my #1 long range p-dog round out past 600yds. I also like the 87gr Vmax's & Berger FB 88gr bullets. Mine will also shoot the 105gr Amax extremely well.
