6mm Rem data w/ 10X and 115 berger needed

I bought a box each of the 95 gr, 105 gr and 115 gr Berger VLD bullets to try in my 40X chambered in 6mm Rem. I don't think the twist is fast enough for the heavy weights but thought I'd find out. Anyone have any load data using 10X, AA2520, H380, H414 or whatever, using these bullets? Let me know, please.

Tominboise,

There is some good news in that Sierra has just come out with a 95gn 6mm bullet aimed at all those people that have a 1-9 or 1-10 twist 6mm rifle and can't shoot the 105 -107 grain VLDs. So now you have at least to good long range bullets to try,Berger and Sierra 95 gn). You may want to try the 105 Gn Hornday AMAX as they claim a 1-9 twist will work. However, work your loads up gently. The 105 AMAX has a relativly long bearing surface so they will show some more pressure.

Trust me we Berger say 1-8 twist rate for the 105 they mean it. They also say 1-7 twist for their 115gn VLD and I just had to try it in my 1-8 twist 6mmBR at 1000 yards. My rifle mas shot a 199-4x at 1000 with the 105gn VLD but with the 115gn bullet the target looked like it was hit with a big shotgun, bullets landing all over the place.

Cheers

Well, then, does anyone want to buy one full box of 105 gr VLD and one full box of 115 gr VLD Bergers? :) Let me know....I'll shoot the 95's and see what happens.
