Slightly confused on this one.
I was fire forming 6mm Rem brass to 6mm Crusader and the cases were stretching 8-10 thou in length. I thought this odd as most of what I have read seems to say the opposite should happen.
After doing a fair bit looking into it, it appears the correct length for the 6mm Rem is 2.233, the only place that says different is Quickload and that says the case length is 2.225, which is what my cases are before fire forming.
I was fire forming using loaded rounds with the bullets seated into the lands but my cases weren't lightly lubed.
The brass hasn't been FL sized but I have expanded the necks and then turned them and resized the neck.
