With the loads you mentioned to me via pm, you should get very good brass life but like I said though, if you really step hard on the gas, life will drastically shorten. I forgot your load numbers but they were very, very mild by BR standards. Your brass should last a long time loading like that. The flip side is, PPC's like pressure and typically shoot better at the top end. Just depends on your discipline as much as anything. You can't leave anything on the table in BR but most any other type of shooting, and a PPC is plenty good enough for, even at very mild loadings. Loading hot, the primer pockets go first. Loading mild and without annealing, maybe the necks will go first but you may well wear out a bbl or so with about 50 pieces of brass before they do.What is the maxim number of times you've been able to reload a .262 necked 6MM-PPC cartridge~?
What is the average number of times I can expect~?
If you anneal them properly. If you are shooting down in the lower load window, say in the neighborhood of 27.5 to 28 grns of 133 with a 65/68 grn bullet, they last quite a while. 15 to 20 firings would not be out of the question.
I you shoot in the upper load window, that being 30+ grns of 133, it will at least be cut in half. Primer pockets are the first to go.
The lower window will be in the 3200 to 3250 fps range, the upper window in the 3400 to 3450 fos range.
