thoughts on this case.how is it as fare as acuuracy over say a 6mm on the 6.5 lapua case witch s now a standard case i have heard made by lapua

I don’t know how it compares to the case you’re referring to but I know the GT is an awesome round! Dasher that feeds well from a magazine!

Yah, and I think Lapua dropped producing that case too.

I love it. Necks on the alpha aren’t as straight as Lapua by any means, but if you chase your bushing with a mandrel it’s no thing. Forster is also making FL non-bushing dies.

Almost all 3 shot groups were in the .1s and 5 shot groups in the .2s were very regular using Berger 88s and Berger 108 BT. The 88 shot the best for me, for sure.

It’s essentially a 6x47 Lapua, and with Peterson making that excellent brass I will likely go that way for targets and continue hunting with the GT, as it does very well on deer for me.

I still like the BR/BRA for raw accuracy, but the GT and Lapua are still both excellent and in the line up.

I love my 6 GT. It is way too easy to load for. I use the 105 hybrids and 108 ELD-Ms on deer and they are deadly.

I shoot my 6xc with 34.5 grains of Ar Comp with a Berger 108 at 2960.
