6mm Dasher

I have a couple Kreiger 8 twist .236" barrels because I took that advice from an experienced 1000 yard BR shooter. I have been overly impressed with them and haven't looked back. Both shoot better than me. No scientific reason for me, except for that they just shoot!!!

I have a .236 Krieger that shoots in the 1s at a 100 and 2 1/2" 10 shot groups at 600. It depends on how fat the bullets are that your shooting. I would imagine that you can tune your loads to either of them though. Good luck.

Id still like to understand the difference... either or ive never been able to tell with berger bullets... they both tune up great...

from the Vapor Trail thread going on here...

(I am not suprised. As I do barrel work, I am finding more and more that .237" barrels tune with Varget, and .236" barrels seem to prefer RL15. Not cut and dried, but never the less a trend).

It's all about the tune.

.237" X-caliber barrel.
