I have had excellent results using 33.0 grains RL-15, CCI450 primers, fireformed Lapua brass, and either the 105 Berger, 107 SMK, or the 105AMax, naked, no moly, seated about 0.010" back from a hard jam.
For fireforming I use 32.0 grains IMR4895 with the same class bullets. I use the false shoulder technique for fireforming: expand the necks with a 25 caliber mandrel, then bushing neck size part-way down with a 0.267" bushing, adjusting the bushing depth until the case can be chambered with a fairly stiff bolt closing force. Charge, seat, fire. It shoots great even with these fireforming loads.

What kind of velocity do you get; out of what length barrel, with that 33.0gr load of RL15?

With the 30" Broughton 5C, 8 twist barrel, I get 3085 FPS with the Berger 105s, and 3070 with 107SMKs and the 105AMax.

That rifle, cartridge and shooter are responsible for shooting up a bunch of 600 yard centers. Now, if we could only get just the 10 and X-ring replacement centers...

Thanks TechShooter!! My Broughton barrel is a 29", 1-8 so I hope to achieve very similar results. Thanks for the info.
