6mm Dasher dies ??

While waiting for my 6mm dasher reamer from Pacific Tool I thought I'd order some of the necessary extra's that I'll need to reload for this caliber. I called Redding Reloading looking to buy a die set only to be told that they do not make a micrometer seater for that caliber. They have a set that contains a "neck sizing" die, body die and a standard bullet seating die only. I realize that I could simply order the set above and then add a Forster "micrometer" bullet seating die but then I'd be looking at over $ 300 without the bushings for the Redding neck sizer. I want to be able to shoot several different bullets so I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that makes all of the above as a set ?? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Big Kev.

L.E. Wilson makes a non-stainless bullet seater die for the 6mm Dasher. I believe you can add a micrometer top to this obtained from Sinclair.

Big Kev,
No sets, but here's what I did:
Full length bushing sizing die - Hornady custom shop made die to my reamer print.

Lonnie Hummel's custom shop will make that die in a fraction of the time Redding will quote you, and for less money.
Hornady also makes a sleeve style seater die they would custom make in Dasher, but isn't spring loaded like Redding or Forester. Hornady sells a micrometer add-on for their seater dies. I've got one for my pistol and .223 dies and it works well.
My seating die is a Forester ultra seater, which is a standard catalog item. The Forester micrometer numbers/lines are not as easy to read as Redding's white on black, but still usable.
Another size die option is Forester will open up the neck on their regular full length die to your specified dimension. You could buy a couple full length Dasher dies, then send them to Forester telling them to ream them out to your desired sizes. Change the whole die instead of changing neck bushings.
Mixing and matching Dasher dies seems the best way to go, unless you want a custom set from Hornady.
You've got a custom reamer on the way, so I'd suggest a custom size die that matches it to best fit your sized brass to your chamber.

Now you know why people shoot a BRX. No expensive custom reloading dies to purchase. Std BR dies and a 308 body die and you are in business.

I don't believe there is any difference in performance between the two cases.
