6mm creedmore

any one useing this for ground hog hunting.what are your thoughts on it with 75 to 85 grain bullets out to say 500 yards.thats as far as i think i can shoot around here.was just interested in any information you may have.

I would think that would do really well at that yardage. I used 75gr Sierra hp. In a 243 for years and was great out to 600yards. Buddy has 6x47 lapua using 75gr v max and 88gr Berger's and it does great job. Not alot of difference in the two cases.
 
I have been shooting 87 v-max,1/4 moa to .35 moa at 600 to 700 yards,depending on wind, in 6 creedmoor 1-8" twist .104 freebore
 
I would try 87 Vmax and Sierra 85 HPBT. Both of them work very well for me in two different 243s.
 
Don't know if the new ELDM's are the same as the old A-Max but the 105 A-Max worked great to 1k and beyond at the MV's you would be looking at.
