6mm creed v150 reload data

This load is using a 108 gr bullet lr primers and 150.
Found some data using small rifle primers but not large. Where can I find this one?
Thanks

Tried 3 different 105 gr bullets
T ried 31.0 and 32.0 gr v150
Blew a primer at 32gr
Published loads
29.9-34.9
31.9-35.8
30.1-34.
Had to slightly tap cleaning rod to pop case out of the chamber.
Almost always been able to up to 1 gr below max with out problems in other calibers.

Change it from 105 to 100

Small primer loads normally take more propellant than large primers to reach similar velocities. Your small load was likely exceeding recommend pressures and the large pierced primers confirms it.

Do your speeds make sense for your barrel length?

Are your cases fireformed? Also how far are you into the lands. VVN150 is a bit fast for 105 gr. bullets. I use RL17, H4350, and VVN550 all slower powders. My Sierra book shows nothing with vv150.

Reading this with interest. Shooting N150 in 25 Creedmoor with 110 grain bullets, but yet this is another great example of the care we must use in reloading. A simple neck reduction from 25 to 6 mm apparently makes this case/bullet/powder combo behave quite differently than the quarter bore version. FYI I found my lot of N150 to shoot within .5-1 grain of Varget for similar velocities in my Creedmoor. Burn rate was much closer to Varget than to H4350 in my case.

I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions as it seems more loader induced as it stands now. Waiting to hear his experience in loading as he sounds like he is just beginning.

I have used N150 quite a bit in my .308s. I have found it to be a nearly grain for grain match to Varget. N150’s burn rate is too quick for the 6 Creed, especially with something as heavy as 105s.

It’s a little fast so you won’t get the velocity with it and the 105+ weight bullets that a slower powder may but speed needed will depend on what the OP needs and wants.

Almost?

There are quite a few variables besides the powder charge that can affect pressure, including seating depth and case capacity. The data is the book is based on the components, powder lot, and the chamber that they used.

The reason the data always suggests to start low is that the reloader will never have access to the same parameters as were used.

Switched to varget, no problem with it. I will find some other use for it.
