Hello to all.
I have been reading a lot about the 6BR cartridge case, and everything I read is great from the original 6BR through different modifications.
The Dasher Modification seems to hold more long distance records than all the others and I have some serious questions as to just why?
Some very dedicated BR guys on this forum have noted that the 6BRX is right up there in speed with the Dasher.
If so then why doesn't the 6BRX contain a better performance record or at least equal to the Dasher?
Does the 40 deg shoulder on the Dasher contribute that much of an advantage?
Finally, why doesn't Lapua just make a 6mm Dasher case with a longer neck? It seems the longer neck is a problem that most BR shooters would love to see fixed.
2nd, why not just make Dasher cases with the dimensions one wants from existing Lapua cases like there 22-250.
Something here just doesn't make sense!
I surely don't mean to offend anyone, these are just my questions/observations.
