6mm BR Lapua brass capacity

Anybody have the case capacity for the "blue box" Lapua brass? Looking for H2O capacity to compare against the Norma brass. I know the Norma is less but curious by how much?

I believe my buddy told me 38.40-38.45, in this area. I bought my brass right behind him. He may see this thread and post to confirm or correct.

After forming the Norma brass for Dasher I believe I had two grains less H2O compared to the Lapua. Threw the Norma out as unusable as I could not reach the velocities I had with Lapua.

I purchased 3 bxs. of blue box 6BR brass. Fired one time in testing and fireforming. Results I got:
Brass wt.
130.00/130.99 H2O-38.40 Av. Out 0f 300 pcs I only have 70 with this weight.
131.00/131.99 H2O-38.34 Av.
132.00/132.99 H2O -38.35 Av.

I have picked up different lots of 6BR brass that weighs in the 127/128 gr range.

I wonder what those 37.8 cases H2O capacities will be after firing. I also wonder what mine were before firing. I reckon I need to start weighing cases.

I just finished prepping and weight sorting 100 pcs that weighed 127-128

I did a test batch of new cases. I used 10 pieces of brass and their average weight was 128.72 grains. Their average H²O capacity was 38.16 grains.

I’m starting to prep brass for the upcoming 2020 shooting season. I have decided to do some things a little different this year. I shoot a Dasher in the 1000yd game and in years past I would sort new brass by weight when new. This time, out of curiosity I have decided to first sort by length and then weigh. I’m in the process of processing 300 brand new Lapua BR cases. These cases are of the same lot. They measured into 7 groups. 1.5510-1.5515 to 1.5580. .007 difference in new length. I have taken the group with the most cases(123) and weighed them. Their initial overall length was 1.5550 to 1.5555. The difference in weight was from 127.52 to 130.34gr. That is almost a 5gr difference, keep in mind, new and untouched brass. The extra mass must be in the case walls or web.
