6mm br 1/14 load

I have a new 6mm BR and I need a load or 2. Mine has a 1/14 twist so I was wondering what the biggest bullet I can shot out of it was and also what bullets have you guys had luck with. I have a box of 62gr Barnes Varmint Grenades I would love to try in this gun if I could.

MY PAC NOR 1 IN 12 TWIST WORKS GREAT WITH 55 GR BLITZKINGS AND 32.5 GRAINS OF H 322. I HAVE ALSO DONE WELL WITH 34 GRAINS OF VARGET WITH BOTH 58 AND 65 GRAIN VMAX. ONE SUMMER I DID WELL ON CHUCKS WITH 35 GRAINS OF 748 AND 55 BLITZKINGS.

3/4 down the page for varmint loads. I would try anything up to about a 70g bullet.

I have a 14 twist that loves 30.4 of RL7 behind a 58 gr Vmax I actually use this load in 3- 6 BRs. I havent found anything to compete with this load, and its explosive on chucks and P-dogs.

You can forget about the Varmint Grenades, the twist is too slow. You can't beat the 65 gr. Vmax for the price. Lately I've been shooting 68 gr. Euber's. You have to experiment with heavier,read longer bullets) in the 14" twist. Mine will shoot 75 gr. Sierra Varminters as well as any bullet I've tried however, 75 gr. Vmax will not even hit on the paper!
The best powder in my rifle is VV N135.

Thanks guys it looks like my varmint g.s will have to be used in my wssm or 6mm rem. I'll try those RL 7 loads and the 65gr vmax.

With my Remington 40XB Rangemaster I find that the Sierra 70 grain Matchkings do very well with IMR4064! For varmint use I would switch to the Sierra 70 grain Blitzkings. I tried them too and got the same degree of accuracy.
