6mm Berger Bullets getting worse

Has anyone else noticed how Berger's 6mm 105 vld and 105 Hybrids are getting less concentric? After measuring 50 bullets out of one box, I just had to quit and put that box away. Opened another box and same thing.
What Im seeing is the base to ogive measurement vary .001 - .009

Whats the consensus from others?

do you mean base-to-ogive numbers are not consistent, or actually bullet concentricity?

what lot #?

mine are in the low 6000's for 105gr hybrids and they are consistent from a base-to-ogive number. never looked at measuring concentricity of a naked bullet.

Base to ogive aint got nothing to do with concentricity. However, thats pretty bad length variations. Might have a bad lot. Double check with another caliper before coming to conclusions. If you are absolutely sure they are bad, call Berger and they will most likely replace them for you.

I would be calling Berger…… that measurement should be under a .001, but first i would make sure the tools you are measuring with are up to the task. What are the dimensions of the shank and pressure ring ? does it vary?…….. jim

Try EPS 106-6mm for true percision in a custom bullet

I have been using Jamie Eazors 6mm 106 gr bullets in my 6BRX for 2 yrs. They have helped me be competitive in and win quite a few matches from 100 yds to a 1000 yds. They are so consistent in weight and ogive measurement they enable me to load right out of the box, saving a ton of time. Unlike some other "custom" bullet makers, all EPS bullets are made onsite. They are not jobbed out and made offsite like some others. Give Jamie a call, it will be worth you while.

While I am sure Berger will do something about it if indeed there is a problem, There is no doubt that Eazors bullets are top quality! I see more and more guys shooting his 6 and 30 cal bullets. Plus he is a great dude.

Almost feel like jumping in, not to help but to comment on Berger availability.

None.

I have 2,000 105 Hybrids on back-order at Graff's for a few months. 1,000 on back-order at Cabelas and no luck finding them anywhere else - good price or stupid high.

Less than 300 are left and then I park the rifles. Berger is not supplying so maybe those alternatives you are getting are a viable option for another reason.
