May want to check with Bigdawg at maddogweapons and see if he has a reamer and or barrel blank.Does anyone have a source for a 20" H-Bar barrel for an AR-15? I purchased a 28" barrel form X-Caliber a few years ago (which I'm very pleased with), but now they say that they cannot supply that chambering. I will probably think twice about using them again.
That's strange, I bought my 6 ARC 24" H-Bar barrel from X-Caliber last fall. Why would they stop making them now?Does anyone have a source for a 20" H-Bar barrel for an AR-15? I just looked on X-Caliber's site and under the custom AR barrel builder, they still offer 6 ARC!!!Does anyone have a source for a 20" H-Bar barrel for an AR-15? Thanks for the lead....order placed for exactly what I want. Now for the wait.
They have 6 arc and 6 grendel. The 6.5 creed ar10 barrel I got from them was excellent.
ARC is available from several manufacturers including X-Caliber. In that I have been working with the AR/Grendel for a number of years, I have no interest in the ARC.That's strange, I bought my 6 ARC 24" H-Bar barrel from X-Caliber last fall. Why would they stop making them now?

12 to 16 weeks for the barrel..................hope I can get it shooting well in time for Perry. 20" H-BAR 1:7 twist shooting 105 and heavier to get to 1000 yards. 112 Barnes is sub MOA out of my 28" X-Caliber.Welcome show some pics of the rifle and targets once you get it slapped together.
My mistake, I miss read! Thought you were looking for an ARC barrel. My bad!ARC is available from several manufacturers including X-Caliber. In that I have been working with the AR/Grendel for a number of years, I have no interest in the ARC.
What kind of velocity were you getting out of your 28"?12 to 16 weeks for the barrel..................hope I can get it shooting well in time for Perry. 20" H-BAR 1:7 twist shooting 105 and heavier to get to 1000 yards. 112 Barnes is sub MOA out of my 28" X-Caliber.
About 2740 fps loading 0.020" off the lands with Reloder 17(!). The longer barrel burns all of the powder. What kind of velocity were you getting out of your 28"?
We were thinking of making a 6arc/6 Grendel and tailoring it to mimic 308 ballistics for the PA 308 acss reticle.
