6MM-284 Bullets for Hunting

I have used Hornady A max and Berger on deer before. But the 6- 284 pushing Hornady and Bergers at fast speeds,I hear) will come apart.I also, hear) that Sierra is to hard and will just make a pin hole.I'm wanting to shot Long 105-115 bullets. I have a 1 in 8.5 twist. Can anybody tell me a good Match bullet that will work on deer and won't come apart.THANKS.

I have had very good success with the Sierra 85 gr.HPBT #1530 Game King bullet. It is very accurate but on the down side it usually will not pass through a average sized deer shot in the shoulder. I have never crippled or lost a deer with the 85 gr. HPBT,#1530 )and the 6mm-284. I bought some Nosler Partions but just never could get the accuracy I felt I needed. I have heard of some hunters using BIB 95's for long range hunting and if you call BIB Randy will be glad to talk to you about his bullets being used for hunting.

Any bonded bullet from Hornady,Swift,Remington will do the trick. You cant go wrong with a Nosler partition ether.

nosler 85,95,100 for partitions
hornady 85gr interbond, 85gr SST
swift 90gr scirocco
remington 100 gr PSP core-loct ultra bonded

I asked the same thing of Hornady about thier 105 Amax bullet. I shoots great out of my 243IMP. Here is Hornady's response:

Glenn, The bullet is not a hunting bullet. The jacket is somewhat thin and designed more for accuracy. On antelope I feel that with proper shot placement the bullet should perform well. I do not feel that is would perform well on mule deer. Thanks

Can the 105 grain 6mm Amax be used on Antelope and Mule deer?
