I have been in the process of building a new prone rifle for my wife for the last year or so, and I have to let this project go.
She lost her father last month, and he was who we did a lot of shooting with. In particular he got her started in high power and smallbore. In fact, he encouraged her so much she got a scholarship to college for smallbore.
Well, unfortunately she has lost her appetite for the shooting sports, that with the two year old, the decision was to pass this on.
So here are the details:
Defiance Rebel Short action, right port, right eject, S.S., magazine fed
Two bolts, one in standard for .308 base case (.473) and one small for .223
One Bartlein 6mm 1-7.5 twist, 5R chambered in 6mm Dasher
One Bartlein in .224 1-7 twist chambered in .223 Wylde
Eliseo Chassis, right hand in Sunburst Orange
muzzle is cut .750 for a rightsight front sight
Centra rear sight and an RightSight (no iris) base set
Triggertech Diamond 2-stage, pro curved
Barrel work was done by Brian Nettesheim at Infringed Rifles in WI. We never fired it, I was almost done with it over the summer.
It's not glued in. I didn't put a grip on it.
Retail on this is over $5000.00, but I will take $4100.00 shipped, obo.
