6bra trim length

Don't trim till you KNOW the measured length of YOUR chamber. That measurement will never change. May end up not needing to trim in the first place.;)

How does that length compare to the "measured length" of YOUR chamber? Most "measured" chamber lengths that I've seen are cut about .020 over trim length BUT YOU decide what trim length is. And if you don't know the actual "measured" length, you're just trimming to a random length that you're happy with.

Get your chamber print . Trim them as long as you feel safe with . .005 is safe it you keep them there . The longer keeps them carbon ring from startling . With my Dasher I trim ever other time . Good luck Larry

exactly, I can't make them grow and you have to clean the carbon anyway..

How much they grow also depends on the type of dies you use. Bushing Bump dies will keep them from growing. I have BR brass with 20 to 25 resizes on them and no need to trim yet.
Don't want to deal with the carbon in the chamber at the end of the shorter necks? Let them get longer.;)

I was told with new lapau brass to find the shortest of them all, make then all that length then put the trimmer in the drawer.
Using FL w neck bushing die.
