6bra & 105gr & TAC

Guys for what it's worth I've been trying tac in my wife's tactical 6bra... I started at 28gr and worked up to 31gr... at 31gr I began seeing the slightest of shining on the case head and I stopped... the 29gr load was a very small clover leaf in the high .3s and average velocity of 2723fps for corrected drop but the chrony showed 2785fps... it's a keblys atlas tactical action, 28" brux barrel, TT diamond... I will be trying N135 next and then possibly varget after that

Interested what your results with N135 and 105s as far as the accuracy, just curious because I want to try it as well. just don't know where to start .

Following for results of VV-N135 and 105 gr. as well.

Guys N135 is amazing accuracy wise and gained about 40fps over tac... I had to walk downrange to check the group because I couldn't discern it from the bench... it was easily in the 1s... I went from 27-30gr... the 30gr load was damn good but brass began getting shiny and I read it as pressure but could have been wrong... I don't recall that the exact speed but it was around 2840fps and .25moa... this will be the powder I use going forward at 28.5gr using cci 41 primers

N135 and AR COMP appear to be nearly interchangeable. 29.5 should be about 2880.

You are essentially shooting the 6br node, or the "fireforming node". This is where it really shoots the best.

Yep that's where it began to come back in, but like I said the case head had a shiny spot that I interpreted as pressure but might not have been... maybe I'll revisit it
