How well would a 1-8 twist 6 br with 105-107s shoot at close range 100-200yds i know it will do much better at long range than my 1-14 with the 68s will, there terrible in the wind but i was a little concerned about the heavy bullets in close we shoot animal targets for score from 100-415yds if they will group 1/2" or less that would be great also im planning on doing some shooting between 750-1000yds if it was 415 and in i would consider a 1-10 or 1-12 twist .

With a good barrel, shooting with wind flags in good conditions, an 8-twist can put the 105s/106s/107s into low twos, high ones. That's for 5-shot groups. The whole system must by good though--good barrel, good loading procedures, good bullets, high-quality stock and rests, and a tuned load.

With a 5x5 aggregate, an average in the mid-threes is probably more realistic. But these modern VLDs can shoot very well indeed.

Accuracy, of course, depends on the barrel/bullet/rifle combination. If all three are match quality there is no reason why a 6BR, 8 twist, with the heavy bullets will not shoot under 1/2 MOA all the way out to 1000 yards. And probably 1/4 MOA or better at 100 to 600 yards. If you do your part.
