Seam like every month I hear of a new variation made from 6 Br brass which I think was first made from 308 brass. So is it the #1 used brass for “wildcats” now days. Can anyone name them all lol
Absolutely another whole pile in those calibers. LOL.Don’t forget the 30s and 22s Bill!
Dang, never knew of those either.Just looked up some info on this
I had no clue there was a 338, 358, and 375, but the inter web says it is so.
Additionally, I did not know a 270 BR was a thing, but it is.

And why would lapua ever stop making 6br. I am sure they could sell all they could make if the quality is good. How many BR variants are there really?

When Stan passed (almost 2 years now) he was working on a 6BR Nightbird. I wish I knew the specs on it, but he was secretive about it.Stan Taylor use to talk about a couple of BR variant’s he chambered , comet & vixon. IIRC

Love it. Stan had a good sense of humor, by picking those names.View attachment 1547063
Stan posted this picture, he says the Vixon is a little shorter than the Comet. I think he implied both are made by pushing the shoulders back on Dasher brass? (See post 17 for the link)
The Vixon looks a lot like @BartsBullets 6 Hammer which another BR variant.
