6BR Seating.

Just built this rifle. I like to test seating depth at the range using a wilson micrometer die. I don't have one but do have a 30 BR Wilson die. I have tested it on the 6BR and it seems to work. Both cases are the same except the 30BR has a wider mouth which allows the 6BR to fit.

I have a set of Redding Competition dies with the Micrometer seating die but of course it won't work in a Arbor Press which is what I use at the range. I would of course seat the bullets at home using the Redding die all to the same length and adjust at the range.

Question is will it work in a precision manner?

I don't see why not, as long as your neck tension isn't so tight, then you may deform the copper jacket, since you are putting pressure abive the ogive.
