KISS!! START HERE. Brass too short for the chamber, trigger pulled, firing pin pushes the case forward in the chamber, round goes BANG, primer tries to back out of the pocket, case head hits the bolt face and firing pin pushes primer back into pocket pierces primer. Once fired, brass will fit chamber and THAT issue won't happen again unless you end up pushing the shoulders back too far and you end up starting from scratch again.
Or, you could always just spend the $$$, get the firing pin bushed and still have the same issue cause you didn't fix the original problem. Again, KISS!![]()
Yeah - as said - getting bushed doesn't rid the problem - which seems to be there as the velocity isn't high enough to warrant primer piercing. Shoulders set too far back. However - if your bullet is jammed and it does this - you may also be running hot with air temps and will need to lower your load maybe 1 1/2 grains. You don't need to bush to run normal loadsKISS!!
