6BR Lapua brass

I got some new brass last week and the primer pocket is too shallow to fully seat primers. Any one have this problem before?

Easy fix, just clean them up by using a primer pocket uniformer. Makes the primer pocket perfect.

My brass is the other way around.. my primer pocket uniformer will not touch the bottom of the pocket, now I am looking for something to get them clean with.

Froggy, the part # is UN - 8006 from Sinclair. This is for lapua brass only. Bill

Thanks for that info. I had no idea there was another primer pocket uniformer that was specific for Lapua brass.

It sounds like I got very lucky when I ordered my Lapua brass. I've never seen such consistency in brass before. My only problem with it is that it's Norma specs & my chamber is cut to Remington dimensions. A small base sizer die would fix the problem, but I figure this brass will last a lot longer being such a close fit to my chamber. It just takes a firm shove with the thumb to push it far enough in to close the breech block.
