6BR Dummy

Thinking about a 6BR build on a Model 12 DBM action, not sure if the 6BR will feed from a 308/243 DB magazine. So, I'd like to scrounge a 6BR dummy round, or just a piece of re-sized brass to check the feeding. A piece that is no longer re-loadable, i.e. loose primer pockets, etc.

freestate101, it won't feed . but if you use a spring from a 223 mag and shorten the follower about a half inch and put a block in the back of the magazine it will feed perfect.

Sounds like treeman know what he is talking about. Have done similar projects and everything sounds right. You won't be sorry moving to a 6br.
