6br and NF BR scope question

I have a new to me 6br and used my sightron siii 8-32 scope when I shot it at 1k the other day and had plenty of elevation etc.

my question is will a night force BR 12-42 (w only 40moa internal) work for me to get to 1k?

I have a 20moa base and my 108bergs are traveling at 2840 at the muzzle and 1450 at 1k (confirmed through electronic targets)

will this work? or do I need to consider a different scope?

It should. You should only need about 30 MOA to get to 1k. You may not be able to zero at 100y with this setup, but that's not a big deal. One way to tell for sure.....

With a 20 minute base you can zero at a 100 and still have plenty of adjustment for a 1000. That's my set up and it works just fine

a side note: from bottomed out I am 15 minutes up to get my 100 yard zero on the sightron.

Bat action, 20 moa base, 6br. I've used 107smk's and 108 bergers, you can't get a 100 yard zero with a 25 minute base.

I have a 6BR built on a savage, and use the Nightforce 12-42 with a 20MOA rail without a problem. In case you need more, it's simple enough to use the Burris signature rings which let you put in more elevation.

Even a better choice, I still use 20 minute based.
