6br and HS Precision magazine

I've seen mention of it that some have had very good success getting the 6br based cartridges feeding out of an HS Precision magazine with some slight modifications but haven't seen the specifics on what they did.

I've tried off and on for probably 15 years to get a good reliable br based repeater, I know the ACIS magazines will work but this is for a hunting rifle, 2 or 3 in a mag would be fine, I don't want a big magazine hanging down.

If anyone has experience with this and is willing to share some specifics or pictures, I'd be most appreciative.

I could never get my HS mags to feed reliably even with normal cartridges let alone with a BR case. I’ll be interested to see how/if others have made them work out. Modified 5 and 10 rd AICS mags have worked great though. And really the 5 rd mags don’t stick out much at all.

Somebody posted this on my thread about the 30BR repeater I built. Seems this guy has the feeding from a BDL figured out. Of course his is a 30BR, but IDK why a 6BR wouldn't behave similarly.

Use the hs precision 22/250mags. I think i opened up the lips to ?? Ill have to look.0.440comes to mind. The guys at west texas ordnance told me, works pretty good

I use Aw mags with hrd gear spacer. Flawless in defiance action. Also mdt 6br mags work 100%
