6BR 68g freebore?

I need to get my barrel rechambered, and want to know a good freebore for shooting 68g Berger bulletes. The current chambering is too long and as the throat erodes, I'm running out of case.

Thanks,
Jim

I shoot 66's w/#7 ojive and my personal reamer has a .040 free-bore..If I were to do it again I would order a zero free-bore.....Rick

Rick is rite on....zero to .040 is the ideal range for the lil 62-68 gr benchrest bullets....I like to have at least .020 so that there is a lil strait portion in the throat to help pilot the bullet...sorta like a sleeve to aid in alignment!!! Just my preference.....With .040 and a Kiff,PTG) reamer you will have aprox..130" of bullet shank or jam in the case neck....so you can obviously go as short as zero, which wuld push em in another .040 for .170" +/- ....there is aprox .300 of useable neck length on the Lapua 6 BR,1.560) which leaves plenty of room......Roger
PS...I like the .040 FB because I shoot 8 twist bbls. anymore and that is about as short as U can go and still shoot 107 Sierra SMK's and not run into the donut!!!and still be good for the lil' bullets tooooo
