6BR 270 nk

What bushings will I need for a 6BR with a .270 neck? Thanks Jim

Assuming you want to finish with a .268 seated bullet nk you can start with a .266 bushing and if that is not snug enough go to a .265 bushing. If you are using silver Wilson bushing you can turn the number side over and get 1/3 thou.

As a beginer, I thought that this should be answered as need to know the loaded round size. ie if the gun is a 270 neck what size is the loaded round.

As in my 262 necked gun, my target is about 260 for the loaded round, so I started with a 259 bushing.

If in the orginal question a 268 round is used I thought the start point would be a 267 bushing.

am I on track?
